One of the duties of this Board is to prepare and pub lish a State Course of Study for Elementary and High Schools. In compliance with this statute the Board prepared and issued in 1909 a Manual of the courses of study for both elementary and high schools in a single volume. In 1912 the Board revised the courses of study for both elementary and high schools, but issued separate manuals for these two kinds of schools.
