Descrição

Ever since she was very small, Helen would play with her friends under a huge, bushy fig tree. It was close to her house, where there was an immense meadow. The tree stood alone in the middle of the field, begging for company. There came a day when the wind from the south blew stronger. In late afternoon, brush strokes of purple cut through the blue sky. Helen went to her fig tree and looked out at the horizon. When she got home she found a strange silence. She walked through the streets trying to hear the voices of her friends and neighbors. Everything was deserted. She looked around all the corners of the small village, without any sign of its residents. She sat at the edge of the sidewalk and stayed there night fell. Her eyes fixed on the moon and asked for help with the power of a sincere heart. A point of light became stronger and stronger until it took the form of a small, shining hummingbird: - I'm the company you have asked for – it said, rising in a funny low flight. The little girl opened her eyes wide and scratched her hand. The The bird stopped a few inches from her nose and she fell into a sitting position. So begins Helen's journey, in search of her lost universe. A story full of adventures, surprises and discoveries.
